State fires another Augusta youth center employee

AUGUSTA, Ga. (AP) — The Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice has announced another firing at the Augusta Youth Development Campus. State officials said Tuesday that a corrections officer was dismissed after he'd been suspended with pay while investigators looked into allegations of an "inappropriate" relationship with a resident of the center.
